A tour of the Enjoy window
Find your way around Enjoy, from the project tabs and the Projects menu to the Conversations, Files, Workflows, and Processes sections and your account.
Enjoy shows one project at a time. The top of the window has two rows: the first is for moving between projects and reaching your account, and the second is for moving around inside the current project.
The top row
- Project tabs: your pinned projects, each with its name and an icon in the project’s color that shows the first letter of the name or an image. The project you’re in also has a tab, even if it isn’t pinned. See Pin projects as tabs.
- Projects opens Your projects, a menu of your projects with a search box and buttons to start or open a project. See Switch between projects.
- Feedback opens a short form for sending feedback to the Enjoy team. To remove the button, choose Hide from toolbar in that form. Feedback stays available under Community in your account. See Send feedback or a testimonial.
- Appearance, the sun or moon button, chooses a System, Light, or Dark theme, and how compact conversations and messages look. See Change Enjoy’s look.
- The circle with your initial, near the right end, opens Your account, with your plan, My computers, Password & sign-in, App settings, Community, and Sign out.
On the left, the Enjoy mark appears. If you can reach more than one computer, a computer switcher appears there instead. On a Mac, Enjoy’s menus are in the menu bar at the top of the screen, and on Linux they’re in a menu bar at the top of the window. On Windows, select Application menu, the button with three lines at the top left, to open them, and use the buttons at the top right to minimize, maximize, or close the window.
The project row
- Conversations, Files, and Workflows switch between the three main sections of the project. Files and documents you pin appear next to them as shortcuts.
- Processes, a button near the right end, lists the programs your agents started that keep running, such as a website’s server, and shows their output. A number on it shows how many are listed. Point to a button in this row to see its name. See What’s in the Processes list.
- Project settings, the button with sliders at the right end, opens the current project’s name, color, instructions, and other settings. See Change a project’s name and settings.
The sections
- Conversations. The list on the left shows the project’s conversations, with + to start a new one, a search box, and the filters All, Needs you, Working, and Unread. Show completed, at the bottom of the list, is on at first. Clear it to hide completed conversations. The selected conversation fills the middle, with the message box at the bottom. Select the status under the conversation’s title, such as Working, to open a panel with the agent’s step-by-step activity. See Start a conversation and Follow what your agent is doing.
- Files. Your documents and your project’s files, under Your documents and Project files. See Find your way around Files.
- Workflows. Saved instructions you can run again or on a schedule. See What are workflows?
Signs to look for
- A spinning circle with a number, on a tab, on Projects, or on Conversations, means that many agents are working.
- A message icon with a number counts unread conversations on a project tab or on Projects. On Conversations, it counts conversations that are unread or waiting for you.
- Needs input in a conversation means the agent is waiting for your answer or approval.
- A cup icon next to a working conversation’s status means the computer app is keeping your computer awake while agents run. See Keep your computer awake.
- Resume agent work at the top of a project means agent work in that project is paused. Select it to let agents continue.
- Error messages appear in a banner near the top. Select its close button to dismiss it.

In the web app
The web app at app.enjoy.dev has the same layout for the projects on your computer, with your computer’s name, or a switcher if you have more than one, at the top left. A few things only appear in the computer app, such as the buttons to start or open projects in the Projects menu, removing projects, and the cup icon. See Use Enjoy in a web browser.
