You shouldn’t have to know how to code to build something of your own. And you shouldn’t have to settle for worse AI because you’re not a programmer.

Maybe you want to start a business. Maybe you need a better way to run the one you already have. Maybe there’s an app you wish existed, and you’re tired of waiting for someone else to make it.

The AI you use matters. It’s doing the building. My position is simple: if you’re serious about your idea, use the latest generation of AI, and use tools that let you get real work done with it. That is what I built Enjoy to give you.

There’s an old way to work with AI: ask it to write a little code, inspect everything it gives you, fix it yourself, and repeat. You’re still doing the engineering. You’ve just added a helper.

I believe we’ve moved past that. For the apps, tools, and businesses that most of us want to build, the latest AI can take on the programming itself. Writing it. Testing it. Checking its work. Finding problems and fixing them.

If you know how to code, that means letting go of work you’re used to doing yourself. If you don’t, it means you can finally start. Either way, you get to decide what should exist without spending years learning how to make every part of it.

Could an excellent engineer spend enough time on a problem and produce something better? Of course. But you don’t have unlimited time. You have a business to build, and every hour has to come from somewhere.

I’m willing to trade a little polish in the code for a lot more time with customers. I’d rather have a working product that people know about than a perfectly organized project that nobody has heard of.

This is where people get stuck. Building feels productive. There’s always one more thing to improve. Meanwhile, you haven’t told anyone what you’re making, asked anyone to try it, or found out whether they’ll pay for it.

Your product needs to work. Your business also needs customers. Enjoy exists to give you more time for both.

Here’s what I believe: if you’re one person building a software business, you shouldn’t be spending your days reading code.

You should be trying the product. Does it do what you asked? Does it make sense to someone using it for the first time? Where does it get confusing? What needs to happen next? You can answer those questions without inspecting how every part was built.

I trust AI to do the engineering work, including writing tests, reviewing changes, and looking for security problems. While AI isn’t perfect, your average engineer isn’t either.

I’m talking about your side project, your business tools, your website, your automations. The company you’re trying to get off the ground. Running critical infrastructure is a different job. For the work I’m describing, trusting the latest AI is a serious way to build a business. It’s the way I choose to work.

People worry about ending up with messy code: a project that’s difficult for another programmer to understand or change. That concern makes sense when a person has to do all the maintenance.

But I think we need to question how much of that advice still applies when AI is doing the work. Code that is awkward for a human to follow may not be the same obstacle for an agent. I’m willing to build around that change.

That doesn’t make a broken product acceptable. It means I care about whether the product works for the people using it, and whether we can keep making it better.

If your business grows so quickly that you have to rebuild parts of it, you’ve earned a problem worth solving. Don’t spend all your time preparing for a hundred thousand customers before you’ve found your first ten. Give yourself the chance to get there.

The most capable AI coding tools shouldn’t belong only to people who are comfortable typing commands into a terminal. And using several of them shouldn’t mean juggling a dozen windows and trying to remember where every conversation went.

Enjoy puts those tools in an app you can actually use and grow with. Tell it what you want to make. Tell it what needs to change. Keep the thousand ideas in your head organized as the work gets bigger.

You can have AI working on different things at once. You can move between models and use the limits you’re already paying for. When you reach one provider’s limit, switch to another and keep going.

You set the direction. The agents do the engineering. Enjoy helps you manage the whole thing, so having more help actually gives you more time.

Making software is only part of making a software business. You still have to explain why it matters. Find the people who need it. Listen when they tell you what’s wrong. Give them a reason to come back.

I want you spending your time on those things. And I think the people who learn to trust AI with the programming are going to have a real advantage over the people who insist on doing everything themselves.

You don’t have to be a programmer. You don’t have to hire an entire team before you start. You need an idea, the best tools you can get, and the willingness to put something into the world.
