How Enjoy works on your phone and other devices

Your computer does the work

Your projects, files, agents, and AI accounts all live on the computer where you installed Enjoy. When you use Enjoy from your phone, from a browser at app.enjoy.dev, or from another computer, that device is a window into your computer. It shows your projects and sends what you type to your computer, where the agents do the work.

Your projects aren’t copied to a server. Messages between your devices and your computer pass through the Enjoy service encrypted, and it doesn’t keep them. See How your connections are protected.

What your computer needs

For your other devices to reach it, your computer must be:

• On and awake. See Keep your computer awake.
• Online.
• Running Enjoy, signed in to your account.

If it isn’t, your devices say the computer is offline, and its projects come back when Enjoy is open on it again. Work that’s already running keeps going on the computer while your phone is away.

Connecting a device

You connect each device to each computer once:

1. On your computer, you open your account and choose Connect a personal device under My computers. It shows a QR code and an eight-character code that lasts five minutes.
2. On the new device, you scan the QR code or type the code.
3. Both screens show the same six digits. On your computer, you select It matches · Approve.

After that, the device reconnects on its own whenever your computer is reachable. Your own devices can open every project on that computer. If the device wasn’t signed in to Enjoy, approving it also signs it in to your account.

Where you can use it

• Any web browser, at app.enjoy.dev, including your phone’s. See Use Enjoy in a web browser.

Most things work the same everywhere, but a few stay on the computer itself, such as approving agent requests. See What you can do from your phone or a browser.

Plan and limits

Connecting devices is part of the Unlimited plan. See The Unlimited plan.

• A computer can have up to 64 approved devices, counting your team members’ devices.
• An account can have up to 10 computers.
• An account can have up to 48 connections open at once, counting each running computer, app, and browser tab.
