How sharing your computer works

Teammates use their own Enjoy accounts to work on the projects you choose. The work runs on your computer, with the access you pick for each project.

Sharing doesn’t copy your projects anywhere. Your teammate connects to your computer from their own device, and everything they do runs there.

What your teammate can do

  • They work on your computer. Their conversations use the agents installed on your computer and the AI accounts signed in there. The files they edit and the websites their agents start are on your computer too.
  • They only see the projects you share. For each project you pick one of two levels:
    • Can work: start conversations and make changes.
    • View only: read conversations and files.
  • Some things stay with you. When an agent asks for permission to do something, only you can approve it, on your computer. Only you can change an agent’s permission mode, and teammates can’t create new projects on your computer.
  • Everyone can see who’s there and who did what. Faces beside a shared project show who has access and who’s online. Messages show who sent them, and agent replies show who they were for.

How invites work

  • Every invite is for one person, named by their email address. Enjoy doesn’t send it for you: you copy the link and send it yourself.
  • An invite link works once and expires after seven days.
  • Your computer keeps one open invite at a time. Making a new one ends the one before it.
  • If the person opens the link while signed in with the invited email, and that email is confirmed, your computer lets them in on its own. If anyone else opens it, you’re asked first and decide on your computer.
  • Your computer must be on, online, and running Enjoy for anyone to join.

Devices

Each device a teammate uses needs its own approval. After they join on one device, they can add their others without a new invite: they confirm a six-digit code on a device that’s already in, or ask you. Each person can have up to 10 devices on one computer, and every device gets the same access.

Plans

Inviting team members is part of the Unlimited plan. Each teammate needs Unlimited on their own account too; a free trial counts. See The Unlimited plan.

If your plan or theirs ends, or your computer is paused, their access stops and anything they started on your computer stops too. They stay on your list, and access comes back when the plan or computer does.

Staying in control

You can change anyone’s access, disconnect one of their devices, or remove them at any time. See Change what a teammate can access and Remove someone from your computer.

Removing your computer from your account, replacing it with another computer, or resetting its remote access ends every teammate’s access and every open invite on it.
