Store your Enjoy sign-in in the system keychain
Choose whether the computer app keeps your sign-in and connection keys in its own file or in your system's secure storage, such as the Mac Keychain.
The computer app keeps a few secrets on your computer: your Enjoy sign-in, and the keys that let your phone, browsers, and team members connect to this computer securely. By default they’re in a file in Enjoy’s own app data. You can move them into your system’s secure storage instead.
Steps
Open your account
Select the circle with your initial in the top-right corner of Enjoy.
Select Password & sign-in
The section expands.
Check Use keychain for credentials
Enjoy shows Moving credentials… while it moves them.
Allow access if your system asks
Your computer may ask for your password before Enjoy can use its secure storage.
Good to know
- The setting is off until you turn it on. Its description reads Off by default. Credentials are saved locally on this computer without Keychain encryption.
- The secure storage is Keychain on a Mac, Credential Manager on Windows, and the Secret Service, such as GNOME Keyring, on Linux.
- On a Mac and on Linux, the default file can only be opened by your user account on this computer.
- Unchecking the box moves the secrets back into Enjoy’s file.
- This doesn’t change how your AI agents store their own sign-ins.
- The setting is per computer, and only in the computer app.
- Delete all application data… in the Help menu clears these secrets from the storage Enjoy is using. See Delete all application data.
If something goes wrong
Unable to access Enjoy’s secure storage. Unlock your keychain and try again.
Your system’s secure storage is locked or refused access. Unlock it, allow Enjoy when your system asks, then try again. On Linux, Enjoy needs a keyring service such as GNOME Keyring installed and running.
Enjoy’s credential storage could not be read. It has not been replaced.
Enjoy found its stored secrets but couldn’t read them, so it left them untouched. Quit Enjoy, open it again, and try once more. If the message stays, see Contact support.
The setting shows Retry
Enjoy couldn’t read the setting. Select Retry.
