Reset remote access
Disconnect every phone, browser, and other computer from this computer at once, and give it a new security key. Then connect the devices you still use again.
Resetting is a clean start for remote access. Use it if you lost a device and aren’t sure which one it is, or if Enjoy warns that your other devices can’t connect.
Before you start
- Do this on the computer itself, in the Enjoy computer app.
- Have the devices you still use nearby, so you can connect them again afterward.
Steps
Open your account
Select the circle with your initial in the top-right corner of Enjoy.
Open My computers
Under My computers, select this computer’s name.
Open Connection settings
At the bottom of this computer’s details, select Connection settings.
Select Reset remote access
Enjoy explains that every paired device disconnects and needs to be paired again.
Select Reset and remove all devices
The button shows Resetting… while it works.
Connect your devices again
When you open your account again, it says Remote access has been reset. Connect your devices again from My computers. Use Connect a personal device for each device you still use. See Connect your phone.
Good to know
- Every phone, browser, and other computer connected to this computer loses access right away, and anything they started that’s still running stops.
- Phones and browsers that weren’t signed in until you approved them are signed out of your account too.
- Team members on this computer lose access, and open invites stop working. Send new invites to people who should come back. See Invite a team member.
- Your projects and conversations on this computer aren’t removed.
- To remove a single device instead, see Rename or disconnect your devices.
If something goes wrong
Your other devices can’t connect
If Enjoy can’t find the security key that lets your devices connect, a warning appears on your account button. Open your account to see Your other devices can’t connect, then select Reset remote access… there. See Fix the remote access warning.
Reset failed.
The reset didn’t finish. Select Reset and remove all devices again. If it keeps failing, see Contact support.
