Remove a computer from your account
Take a computer off your account from any of your computers, or stop using the one you're on as a computer. Its projects stay on its disk.
Use this when you no longer want a computer to run your projects, for example an old computer you’re giving away. You can remove any of your computers from another one, or from the web app.
Steps
Open your account
Select the circle with your initial in the top-right corner of Enjoy.
Open My computers
Under My computers, select a computer’s name.
Select the computer to remove
In the list on the left, select it, then select the ⋯ button beside Switch.
Choose Remove from account
A window lists what will happen.
Select Remove computer
The computer leaves your account right away.
Good to know
- Its projects stay on that computer’s disk. Nothing is deleted.
- Its phones, browsers, and team members lose access. If you add the computer back later, they connect again with new codes and invites.
- If you pay for extra computers, the window also says the date one extra computer’s monthly charge ends.
- On the removed computer, Enjoy then says it was removed, and offers to connect it to one of your other computers for free, or to add it back as a computer.
- To stop using the computer you’re on, open it in My computers, select ⋯, and choose Stop using this Mac as a computer, or Stop using this PC as a computer on Windows. This only appears when you have another active computer. In the window that opens, select Stop and connect to followed by your other computer’s name, or Stop using this computer if you have several others. Enjoy restarts, says this computer is no longer a computer, and asks what it should do now. Choose Connect to your other computer to use this one as a device. See Use another computer with your projects.
- You can’t remove the computer you’re on with Remove from account. That option is for your other computers.

Enjoy won’t remove a computer from a phone or browser that was signed in by approving it. Select Sign in again. Enjoy signs this browser out; sign in with your password or Google, then try again.
