How conversations get their names
A conversation's title comes from your first message, and the agent adds a short colored label. Here's where each appears, and why you can't rename them.
Every conversation has two names: a title that comes from you, and a short label that comes from the agent.
The title
The title is the start of your first message, up to 100 characters. Docs, files, and workflows you mentioned appear by name, and attachment names are left out. A conversation started by running a workflow is titled with the workflow’s name.
You see the title as the heading at the top of an open conversation, and as the bold text of the conversation in the list.
The label
When an agent starts on a new conversation, Enjoy asks it for a short label of three to six words, such as “Fix checkout button”. The label appears as a colored tag at the top of the conversation’s row in the list. Each label keeps its own color, so you can tell conversations apart at a glance.
On narrow windows, such as the web app on a phone, the label is used as the conversation’s heading.
Can I rename a conversation?
No. Enjoy doesn’t have a way to rename conversations, and once a conversation has a label, it stays the same.
To find a conversation again, search for any word from its title, its label, or its messages. See Find a conversation.
On narrow windows, the ⋯ menu (Conversation actions) has Conversation details, which shows both names: Conversation is the label, and Original title is the title.
If you turn off Message preview under Choose what to show in Appearance, rows that have a label show only the label, except while you search. See Use Compact view for conversations and messages.
