Sign in to an agent

Computer3 min readUpdated October 3, 2026

Connect an agent to your account with the company that makes it, such as Anthropic or OpenAI. You approve the connection in your browser, and Enjoy picks it up.

Agents work with your own plan from the company that makes them, so each agent needs your sign-in on this computer. You sign in with that company, not with Enjoy. Enjoy asks you to sign in after you install an agent, when you choose an agent that isn’t signed in, and when you try to send a message to one.

Before you start

  • Install the agent. See Install an agent.
  • Use the Enjoy app on your computer. In the web app and iPhone app, Enjoy asks you to open Enjoy on your desktop to sign in, and your message stays in the box.

Steps

  1. Open the sign-in window

Enjoy opens it on its own when it’s needed. To open it yourself, select the agent button at the bottom of the message box, then select Sign in under the agent’s name. While an agent needs you to sign in, the agent button shows Sign in with a lock.

  2. Select the sign-in button

It includes the agent’s name, such as Sign in to Claude Code. Your web browser opens the company’s sign-in page.

  3. Approve in your browser

Sign in to your account if the page asks, then approve the connection. For Claude Code, select Authorize. For Codex, select Continue if it asks. For Grok Build, approve the request.

  4. Head back to Enjoy

The window closes once Enjoy confirms you’re signed in. If you were sending a message, it’s still in the message box, ready to send.

Good to know

  • Antigravity shows an authorization code after you sign in with Google. Copy it, paste it into Sign-in code in Enjoy, and select Connect. See Use Antigravity.
  • OpenCode has no account to sign in to. Its window is called Set up OpenCode, and Check connection confirms that it has models ready. See Use OpenCode with free, local, or your own models.
  • Not authenticated under an agent in the agent settings means its sign-in expired or was removed. Select Sign in below it.
  • Each project can use its own account. Signing in from a project signs in the account that project uses. See Use a different account in each project.
  • Enjoy waits up to 10 minutes for you to finish in the browser. Select Cancel to stop waiting.
  • To sign in with a different account, see Switch between agent accounts.

If something goes wrong

Enjoy keeps waiting after you approved

After about eight seconds of waiting, Having issues? appears. Select it for two other ways to sign in:

  • Do it for me opens Terminal on a Mac, PowerShell on Windows, or a terminal window on Linux, with the agent’s sign-in already running. Finish signing in there, and Enjoy notices.
  • Troubleshooting guide opens step-by-step help for signing in yourself from Terminal or PowerShell.

These options are offered for Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build, and Antigravity. For Antigravity, they appear only if the Sign-in code box hasn’t shown up yet. They don’t appear while you’re adding another account, or when the project uses a saved account other than the default one, which is the account your terminal also uses.

Sign-in didn’t finish

The message ends with Try again to open a fresh sign-in page. Select the sign-in button again, and finish in the new browser page that opens.

We couldn’t use that code

This applies to Antigravity. Copy the whole code from the browser page again, paste it into Sign-in code, and select Connect.

OpenCode is not ready yet

This applies to OpenCode, which needs at least one model it can use. The message starts with OpenCode is not ready yet or No models are ready yet. See Use OpenCode with free, local, or your own models to add a provider, then select Check connection again.

Still stuck

See Fix an agent that won’t sign in.
