Move your Replit app to Enjoy

Download your Replit app, open the folder in Enjoy, and keep building with Claude Code or Codex on your own computer.

Get your code out of Replit

  1. Apply finished Agent work

    If Agent has tasks marked Ready, open each one and click Apply changes. Otherwise that work stays out of your download.

  2. Download your files

    Open the file tree, click ⋮ at the top, then Download as zip. Unzip it somewhere easy to find, like your Documents folder.

  3. Copy your secrets

    Open Tools → Secrets. Click ⋮, then Edit as .env, and copy everything. Close it without saving.

  4. Copy your database address

    Using a database? Open Database → Production Database → Settings and copy the connection string. Treat it like a password.

Your project is now a folder on your computer.

Set up in Enjoy

  1. Get Enjoy

    Download Enjoy for Mac, Windows, or Linux. Open it and create your Enjoy account.

  2. Connect your agent

    Pick an agent like Claude Code or Codex. Enjoy installs it and helps you sign in with your Claude or ChatGPT account.

  3. Open your project

    Choose Import existing work and select your project folder. Already using Enjoy? Choose Open any folder from the project menu.

  4. Add your secrets

    Ask your agent to set up a .env file. Open it in Files and paste your secrets there, not in the chat.

  5. Ask your agent to run it

    Start a conversation and send:

    This app was built on Replit. Install what it needs, start it, and open the preview. Check .replit and replit.md for how it ran, replace anything that only works on Replit, and tell me what’s missing.

A few things stay behind

Something look different?

I can’t find Download as zip

Open Tools → Git and push your code to GitHub, then download it from GitHub.

The app won’t start

Ask your agent to read .replit and replit.md. They describe how the app ran on Replit.

Port 5000 is already in use

On a Mac, AirPlay Receiver uses it. Ask your agent to run the app on another port.
