Do I need a separate AI subscription?
Enjoy's plan pays for Enjoy. The AI agents that do the work use your own account with each AI company, and some of those accounts are free.
Usually, yes. Enjoy is the workspace around your agents. Access to the agents themselves, such as Claude Code and Codex, comes from the companies that make them, and their subscriptions and usage charges are separate from Enjoy. Some agents work with a free account, so you may not need to pay for one.
What Enjoy’s plan covers
Enjoy’s Unlimited plan pays for Enjoy: your projects, conversations, documents, and workflows, and using them from your phone and browsers. It doesn’t include AI usage. See The Unlimited plan and free trial and pricing.
What each agent needs
When you set up an agent, you sign in with the company that makes it, not with Enjoy. Enjoy won’t buy or change a subscription for you.
| Agent | You sign in with | What the company says you need |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | Your Claude account, from Anthropic | A Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise, or Console account. The free Claude plan doesn’t include Claude Code. |
| Codex | Your ChatGPT account, from OpenAI | A ChatGPT plan that includes the Codex CLI, which Enjoy runs, such as Plus, Pro, Business, Edu, or Enterprise. Limits depend on the plan. |
| Grok Build | Your Grok or X account | xAI’s Grok Build announcement names SuperGrok and X Premium Plus subscribers. Check xAI’s current plans. |
| Antigravity | Your Google account | Without Google AI Pro or Ultra, you get a quota that refreshes weekly. Google AI Pro and Ultra give more. |
| OpenCode | No single sign-in | It uses the models you’ve set up in OpenCode, which can include free or local models. |
AI companies change their plans, so check their own pages before you buy: Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build, and Antigravity.
How usage limits work
Each AI plan limits how much you can use its agent over a period of time. When you reach a limit, the agent can’t keep working until the limit resets. For some agents, Enjoy shows how much you have left and when it resets. See Check how much usage you have left and Fix “The usage limit was reached”.
You can use more than one agent and switch between them, so one company’s limit doesn’t have to stop your work. See Switch agents in a conversation.
If an agent won’t connect
Follow the steps in Sign in to your agent from a terminal, or see Fix an agent that won’t sign in.
