Activate Enjoy

Before you start

• You downloaded Enjoy from enjoy.dev. The page that started the download shows Your activation code, with Copy.
• It’s been less than 12 hours since Enjoy first opened on this computer.

Steps

1. Copy your code

   On the download page, select Copy beside Your activation code.

2. Open Enjoy

   It opens straight into the app, and Activate Enjoy appears over it. It says how many hours are left at its foot.

3. Paste the code

   Paste it into Activation code. Enjoy checks it right away: Continue says Validating code… for a moment, then the window changes to Create your account.

4. Create your account

   Select Continue with Google: your browser opens Google’s sign-in, and the window says Finish in your browser. Choose your account there; if the browser didn’t open, select Open Google again. Or type your email into Your email and select Continue with email. See With your email below.

5. Start using Enjoy Cloud

   Enjoy signs in to your account, and Enjoy Cloud is on appears at the foot of the window. Select Connect your phone to connect one now. Enjoy also emails you how to connect your phone. To sign in on another computer or in a browser later, use Continue with Google there. If you activated with your email, choose a password in Enjoy first: open the menu under your name, then Your account.

With your email

After Continue with email, the window changes to Check your inbox: Enjoy emails a six-digit code to that address. Type it into Code from your email and select Continue. Use a different email goes back to Create your account.

Good to know

• Not now closes the window. Until the 12 hours are up, a row above the bottom of the sidebar says 30 days of Cloud free with how many hours are left, and Activate opens the window again. After that, the same row offers Get Enjoy Cloud instead. See Get Enjoy Cloud.
• Lost the download page? Select Get one on enjoy.dev in the window for a new code. It doesn’t give you more time.
• If your Google account’s email or the email you typed already has an Enjoy account, this computer signs in to that account. With your email, Check your inbox says so first. Any other computer signed in to it stays signed in.
• Each installation of Enjoy can be activated once, and each account gets its 30 days once, only if it has never had a subscription.
• To keep Enjoy Cloud after the 30 days, add a card in Your account. Without one, Enjoy Cloud ends and nothing is charged. See Enjoy and Enjoy Cloud.

If something goes wrong

Google sign-in doesn’t finish

Select Open Google again to reopen it in your browser, or Cancel to go back to Create your account. Use your email instead goes back there too, to type your email.

The code from your email doesn’t arrive

Check your spam folder, then select Send it again. Enjoy sends at most one code a minute. If you mistyped your email, select Use a different email, and the new address gets its code straight away. See Confirm your email with a code.

“That code doesn’t match”

Check the code on the download page and paste it again. Codes use letters and numbers; Enjoy reads an O as a zero and an I or L as a one. Or select Get a new code.

“That code was used on another computer”

Each code activates one computer. Select Get a new code, which opens enjoy.dev for a new one.

The window doesn’t appear

It appears only in the first 12 hours after Enjoy first opens on a computer. After that, the row above the bottom of the sidebar offers Get Enjoy Cloud.
