Change an agent's account by signing out

Computer3 min readUpdated October 3, 2026

For Antigravity, and on computers where saved accounts aren't available, change which account an agent uses by signing out and signing back in with another one.

Change account appears under the agent’s usage in the agent settings when the agent can’t keep saved accounts. That’s always the case for Antigravity. It’s also the case for Claude Code, Codex, and Grok Build when saved accounts aren’t available on your computer. Otherwise, see Switch between agent accounts.

Before you start

  • Use the Enjoy app on your computer.
  • Let the agent finish its work, or stop it, in every project. Enjoy can’t change the account while that agent is working.

Steps

  1. Open the agent settings

At the bottom of the message box, select the agent button.

  2. Select Change account

A window such as Change Antigravity account? lists the two steps: sign out, then choose another account in your browser.

  3. For Antigravity, sign out in Antigravity first

Antigravity can only sign out from its own program. Open Terminal on a Mac, PowerShell on Windows, or a terminal on Linux. Type agy and press Return on a Mac, or Enter on Windows and Linux. When Antigravity opens, type /logout and press Return or Enter.

  4. Select the button to continue

For Antigravity, it’s Continue to sign in. For other agents, it’s Sign out & continue, and Enjoy signs the agent out for you while it shows Changing account…. Your browser then opens the sign-in page.

  5. Sign in with the other account

Choose the account you want in your browser. For Antigravity, copy the code the page shows, paste it into Sign-in code in Enjoy, and select Connect.

Good to know

  • This changes the agent’s account for every project on this computer, and for the agent in your terminal too.
  • If the agent is already signed out, Change account doesn’t appear. Select Sign in instead, and sign in with the account you want.
  • If you close the window after the agent has signed out, it stays signed out until you sign in again. See Sign in to an agent.
  • Claude Code, Codex, and Grok Build can keep several accounts and use a different one in each project. On Windows, that needs Developer Mode turned on in Windows Settings. After turning it on, quit and reopen Enjoy.
  • OpenCode has no account to change. It uses the providers you set up in it. See Use OpenCode with free, local, or your own models.

If something goes wrong

Finish or stop the agent’s active work

The agent is still working somewhere. Wait for it to finish, or stop it, then try again.

Run /logout in Antigravity

Antigravity is still signed in. Do step 3 again, make sure /logout finished, then select Continue to sign in.

This agent uses a key or managed sign-in

A key for that agent is set up on your computer, often in your terminal settings, and it overrides any account you sign in with. Change the account where the key was set up.

This agent is still signed in

The agent didn’t sign out, often because a key or a sign-in managed by your organization keeps it signed in. Check for one, then try again.

Sign-in didn’t finish

The agent signed out, but the new sign-in didn’t complete. The message ends with Sign in again to reconnect. Select Sign in again in the window, or sign in later from the agent settings.
